The Town Clerk is responsible for recording Dog Licenses, Births, Deaths, & Marriages in Warwick. The Town Clerk is also responsible for running the elections and maintaining voter registrations.

Annual Town Meeting – May 4th
Annual Town Election – May 18th, 12-8pm
State Primary – September 1st, 7am-8pm
State Election – November 3rd, 7am-8pm
Voter Registration
Massachusetts offers online voter registration, so you can easily register or update from home:

You can also register to vote, or update your records in person during regular office hours.
Inactive Voters
If you don’t respond to the Annual Street List, you’ll be put on the inactive voter list.
If you are on the inactive voter list, you can still vote. Bring identification with you when you vote. You must fill out an Affirmation of Current and Continuous Residence. This allows you to cast your ballot. You’ll be added to the active voter list.
If you do not vote in two consecutive federal elections while you’re inactive, you will no longer be registered to vote. You should register to vote again.
Dog Licenses
Dog Licenses are $5/dog, or $10/dog if not spayed/neutered. Due by March 31st
To receive a dog license, please send:
- Proof of current rabies vaccination
- Payment, either Cash or check made out to Town of Warwick
- A self-addressed stamped envelope
Certified Copies
Certified copies of Births, Deaths, & Marriages are available from the Town Clerk. The fee is $10/copy, payable either by cash or check made out to Town of Warwick.
Business Certificates
Businesses in town may obtain a Business Certificate for a fee of $40, payable cash or check. This is useful for anyone conducting business under any name other than their own.
Notary Services
Notarization is available at the Town Clerk’s office during regular office hours, there is no fee. Call to see availability outside of office hours.
Town Census
The annual census helps us keep our voter rolls clean and current, and helps us obtain grants and State money to better maintain our town. Street Lists are available during office hours at no charge.
