A Hybrid Selectboard meeting and the Warwick Highway Commissioners was held on 1/11/2024 at the Warwick Town Hall

Meeting called to order at 6:07 pm by Chairperson Alan Genovese.
- Kevin Alden is bringing 2 candidates forward for hire
- Kevin brings forth Jonas Bussiere as a Laborer/Driver. Jonas is from Warwick and would like a job in town. Jonas is waiting on his CDL driving test, then will get his Hoisting license. Jonas would start at $22 an hr, once CDL is obtained $24 an hr, then $25 an hr once Hoisting license is obtained. CDL would need to be obtained in 30 days and Hoisting License in 60 days.
- Kevin brings forth Michael Truehart as Laborer/Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator/Mechanic (as needed/directed by Highway Superintendent). Michael would like $28hr. Credentials include CDL-A, driving experience, Hoisting engineer-2A, machine operator (farm&heavy), backhoe, sander, street sweeping, mechanic experience and mechanic tools, maintenance for all equipment, works well with others, cooperative, teamwork, build the team stronger, understands supervisor is the decision maker, would be willing to work with Tracy to do grants. $28hr is taking a pay cut but that would be lowest he can go.
- Candidates excused at 6:34pm
- Kevin recommended to hire Jonas at $22/hr to start and then CDL is obtained $24/hr, then $25/hr for a Laborer/Driver
- Keith Ross Motioned to accept Jonas at $22 an hr, once CDL is obtained $24 an hr, then $25 an hr once Hoisting license is obtained as Laborer/Driver. Brian Snell Seconded. All in favor “Aye”. Motion passed.
- Kevin recommended to hire Michael Truehart for Laborer/Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator/Mechanic (as needed/directed by Highway Superintendent) at $28/hr including bringing mechanic tools to barn to use as needed and grant writing.
- Brian Snell Motioned to accept Michael Truehart for Laborer/Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator/Mechanic (as needed/directed by Highway Superintendent) at $28/hr including bringing mechanic tools to Highway barn to use as needed and grant writing.
