A meeting of the Warwick Highway Commissioners was held on 4/15/2026 at the Town Hall
Members present: Robert Croke (RC), Vernon Bass (VB), Todd Dexter (TD)

Others attending: Tracy Styles/Minutes Manager, Jill Delisle, Diana Noble
Meeting called to order at 4:38pm by RC, VB Seconded
Reviewed the 2 bids for the new excavator.
RW voted for the Develon, TD voted Wacker Neuson, VB voted Wacker Neuson
TD makes a move to move forward with the bid for the Wacker Neuson EW 100 Wheeled excavator. VB Seconded. All in favor “Aye” Motion passed. 3-0-0 Passed
Discussion ensued on the Mower Head for the Wacker Neuson. Sales rep will bring back quotes for Mower Head and Board will vote at next meeting.
The Commissioners voted to go with the Wacker Neuson because the parts availability is much better, has a long reach span, wheel base is longer, higher horsepower, when test driving the stability felt much more comfortable with the arm out at cab position 2oclock and 3oclock while static and rolling, larger engine.
TD Moved that the Meeting Minutes from 3/30/2026 and 4/06/2026 be moved into the permanent record RC Seconded. All in Favor “Aye” 3-0-0 Passed
Diana and Jill are here to give there input on the budget for this year and the concerns how to get to year end. Discussion on what projects need to be done between now and end of FY. Diana will bring it to the selectboard to get $10,000 from Salary to get through the rest of FY26 in expenses.
Superintendent report gave to Commissioners to read through for the last week. Barber Hill pipe is in very bad shape. Pipe is leaking out of the bottom. Storm drain is also in rough shape. One potential fix would be a gravel swale with a few exits into the woods. Matt would like to have Donnie Matthews and Verne check it out for other opinions. Matt gave report and plan for the school project.
Matt went over the Crack Sealing quote. Matt will get new quote and bring to next meeting for the Commission to vote on
