A meeting of the Warwick Highway Commissioners was held on 3/30/2026 at the Town Hall

Meeting called to order at 4:35pm by RC, TD Seconded
Board read through meeting minutes to be approved.
TD Moved that the Meeting Minutes from 3/16/2026 and 3/23/2026 be moved into the permanent record RC Seconded. All in Favor “Aye” 3-0-0 Passed
TD Moved that the Citizens Concerns be moved to the front of the meeting. RC Seconded. All in Favor “Aye” 3-0-0 Passed
Citizen Concerns: Julie Hubbard 4 Hastings Heights Rd. here voicing her concerns about her mailbox. Her mailbox is on the corner of the 4-way of Hastings Heights/Richmond Rd/Athol Rd. The corner her mailbox is on is no longer being maintained. March 5th there was a snow storms and on March 6th during clean up dropped a bunch of snow in front of the mailbox blocking the mail lady from being able to deliver the mail. This year the snow has not been very piled up but this storm there was a big pile left there.
RC moved Superintendent report be turned in prior to the meeting so that if the Superintendent is not in attendance the Highway commission would have what work has been preformed the prior 2 weeks and a look into the future 2 weeks. VB Seconded. All in Favor “Aye” 2-0-1 Passed
RC moved that Highway Superintendent and Highway Admin turn in timesheets with Time-in and Time-out for approval to the Highway Chair or Designee prior to payroll submission. VB seconded. All in Favor “Aye” 3-0-0 Passed
The 1 ton truck is going to be put on hold until the numbers for Chapter 90 for FY27 come out.
Discussed the Crack Sealing and what roads should be done.
TD moved that the budget for Cracksealing be capped at $60,000 to Include 78 (Orange Rd/Winchester Rd), Athol Rd, Bottom of Northfield Rd, Wendell Rd (Northfield Rd to Moss Brook Bridge), If unused balance Hastings Heights. RC Seconded. All in Favor “Aye” 3-0-0 Passed
TD moves that $21,000 be moved from the Salary Line to the General Expense Line in Highway Budget to support the General Expenses and the Mower Head. VB Seconded. All in Favor “Aye” 3-0-0 Passed

Tracy went over what the Selectboard wants for recommendations.
RC Moves to recommend to the selectboard to sign the Chapter 90 reimbursement requests and final report/project closeout. VB Seconded. All in Favor “Aye” 3-0-0 Passed
TD Moves to recommend to the selectboard to sign the Chapter 90 Authorized signatory Form naming Tracy Styles, Robert Croke, and Diana Noble. VB Seconded. All in Favor “Aye” 2-0-1 Passed
VB moved to recommend to try Doug’s Truck & Equipment Repair for repairs moving forward. RC seconded. All in Favor “Aye”
