Warwick Conservation Commission Town Hall Meeting Minutes : June 23, 2026 Commissioners Present: Chris Duerring, Chair, Bob Paquet, Nancy Putnam, Mary Williamson, and Greg Brodsky
Meeting came to order at 7:18 pm.
Reviewed June2’nd meeting minutes. Brodsky moved to approve the minutes, Putnam 2’nd, All approved.
Beaver Solutions, Athol Road: Duerring and Paquet attended the Highway Dept. meeting to discuss the issue and provided guidance last Wednesday. Application for the grant will be submitted by the Town.
Conservation Agent position: Duerring sent an email to MSMCP about listing our position.
NOI, Continuation of Public Hearing for Brodsky Solar Array. 51 Wheeler Road, Greg Brodsky, Applicant. DEP File # is 319-140, discussion of DEP comments and of proposed conditions for prior notification, tree stumps to be retained, and for protection of exposed soils from erosion with mulch or sediment controls in the event of rainfall. Williamson moved to close the hearing, Paquet, 2’nd, approved by Putnam, Duerring, Williamson, and Paquet. Duerring made a motion to approve the Order of Conditions with the previous conditions discussed, 2’nd by Williamson, all approved except for Brodsky who abstained.
Discussion of National Grid Vegetation Management Plan. Commissioners will draft a letter to National Grid to meet with us to observe the damage and to propose a solution to prevent any future herbicide damage to native vegetation close to and within streams and wetlands.
Next Meeting Date to be July 28th.
Brodsky moved to adjourn, Paquet 2’nd, All approved.
