Warwick Conservation Commission Meeting Minutes
May 12, 2026, Town Hall
Commissioners Present: Chris Duerring, Chair, Bob Paquette, Mary Williamson, Kaila Marti Woodson, Nancy Putnam, Greg Brodsky
Meeting came to order at 7:14 pm
Reviewed Meeting Minutes from April 2026. Motion to approve with minor edits by Brodsky, 2’nd by Paquette, all approved.
Update on 46 Dusty Road, Tyndall Ellis: NHESP letter was received and no impacts to actual habitat or MESA permit needed.
Update on 20 S. Holden Rd.- Paquette checked the site and no additional work has occurred on site, since previous onsite meeting.
Conservation Agent position: Commission has received an application in response to the listing that was posted on MACC website today.-
Vernal Pool Day: Duerring reported on the event in April. The group visited 2 vernal pools.
Public Hearing for proposed Solar Array and shed at 51 Wheeler Road. Greg Brodsky, applicant described the project and explained that the work will be outside of Estimated and Priority Habitats. Work will stay outside of the Bordering Vegetated Wetland. Plans show the mature trees to be removed and the location of the new shed and solar array to be in the Buffer Zone. Abutter notification is still needed and additional information on plan.
NOI and revisions need to be mailed to DEP West Region. Putnam moved to continue the hearing to June 2’nd, for additional information requested by the Commission and for a DEP file number, Paquette 2’nd, all approved. Commissioner Brodsky abstained.
Approved Forest Cutting Plan, approved on May 5th – reviewed.
