The Warwick Trails Group invites you to join us for a loop hike around Richards Reservoir.
When: Third Sunday of the month: November 16 at 1 p.m.
Where to meet: At the parking lot of the old prison camp on Richmond Road, about 1.1 miles north of the four way intersection of Richmond, Athol, and Hastings Heights Roads.
The Hike: Richards Reservoir is a gem in northeastern Warwick with just what you would expect: a dam, a pond, and a wetland. Our hike (approximately 2.4 miles) will take us around the reservoir, sometimes on parts of the New England Trail. Be prepared for some possible wet sections and please bring a water bottle. We will have maps and a trail description available.
The all-volunteer Warwick Trails Group maintains some of Warwick’s town owned trails, hikes and maps existing trails, plans and creates new ones, and occasionally leads hikes around Warwick.
