A meeting of the Warwick Highway Commissioners was held on 6/16/2025 at the Town Hall

Meeting called to order at 5:11 pm by Robert Croke, Vernon Bass Seconded
Started the meeting with introductions to the new
Restructuring of the Board:
Todd nominated Robert Croke for Chair. Vern Seconded All in favor “Aye”
Robert Croke nominated Todd Dexter for Vice Chair. Vern Seconded All in favor “Aye”
Robert Croke nominated Vernon Bass for Clerk. Todd Dexter Seconded All in favor “Aye”
Paving has been halted temporarily due to extra water on the road. Matt has the Beaver trapper coming 6/16/2025 to set traps to rid site of beaver and try to get rid of the extra water on the road.
Athol Rd Culvert will be an emergency repair 6/17/2025. Consensus of the Board to follow the Conservation Commission’s recommendations for repair. Board went over WPA Emergency Permit.
Both Crack Sealing and Paving Projects were approved through Chapter 90.
Grade All Bucket is on Order and when it is ready they will call Matt and get it on the schedule to be installed.
Matt is aware of Obligation to notify WPD of road closures.
Grading and pulling ditches – Grading is in the process of being done. Discussion ensued about the millings and screening them to use for the sides of the roads.
Todd motioned to allow matt to explore a screening unit for road side gravel. Robert Seconded. All in favor “Aye”
The vendor payments will continue to be signed off on Mondays. New Timesheet approval process will be that Matt signs for the laborers and then Robert Croke will sign Matt’s timesheet.
Matt brought up employee raises and making sure that we don’t loose employees.
Todd makes a motion for the time off for Juneteenth 6/19/2025 holiday and move it to Friday 6/20/2025. Robert seconded. All in favor “Aye”.

Matt to call road side mowing and get that on the schedule.
