More from the

Saturday, February 15, 2025, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, Trinitarian Congregational Church Mission Committee of Warwick, and Wooden Fender present a concert/dance by the Zydeco Connection and pizza dinner at the Warwick Town Hall.

Music: by donation ($5 suggested donation to support future events.)
7-9:30 p.m.: Has cabin fever set in? If so, the Zydeco Connection is guaranteed to help folks dance it away with their zesty, toe-tapping mix of boogie-woogie, swing, waltzes, blues, and two-steps. Lil’Cyn plays accordion; Dewitt Thompson plays drums; Eileen Almeida on rubboard and sings lead vocals; David LeBlanc plays bass; and Larry LeBlanc on guitar. The term “Zydeco” is Creole French slang for “the string beans have no salt,” meaning that times are tough. This style of music stems from rural South Louisiana Cajun music, which is acoustic. Zydeco musicians add rhythm and blues, drums, and electric instruments.

But first, PIZZA!
6-7 p.m.: Pizza from the Pizza Factory (gluten-free available) will be served. All proceeds support the Mission projects of the Trinitarian Congregational Church of Warwick. Every dollar is donated to local and worldwide charities. $12 Meal Deal (2 slices of pizza, salad, drink, dessert) or $5 pizza per slice, $2 salad, $1 dessert or drink.

Please note that the dinner and music sponsor separate entities and have separate costs associated with them.
